PESHAWAR (Nadir Buneri): Jubilating over the election of Barrister Gohar Ali as party Chairman, the residents of Buner said that this step would strengthen the party and would usher new era of peace and stability in the country.
Talking to this scribe former Nazim Union Council Daggar Inamullah Khan advocate said that this decision of the party chairman has proved that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has no inherited leader but works on the principle of democracy in the country.
He hoped that the country leadership would provide level playing field for PTI to contest the upcoming general elections. He said that the party workers are vibrant and would elect their leader as per the expectation of the nation.
Another local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and PTI General Councilor Farwar Khan said that this decision of the party to elect Barrister Gohar Ali as a party chairman will give new hope to the country youth and will put the country on the track of development. He said that they have great expectations from the PTI incumbent chairman as he has the quality to patch up serious matters with country leadership.
PTI active member from village council Topdara Samiullah Khan also welcomed the decision of Imran Khan to elect Barrister Gohar Ali as Central Chairman. He said that this decision would be remembered in the golden words of history.
It is worth mentioning here that the newly elected central chairman of PTI Barrister Gohar Ali has already contested election on PPP ticket on NA-28 Buner. At that time he received 27532 votes second to ANP Abdul Mateen Khan.
His forefathers were also among the prominent leader of PPP and contested elections on PPP ticket .
He joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf on 03 July 2022 and become chief Election Commissioner of the party on 15 July 2022. He is considered right hand of the Khan and will play active role for strengthening the party at a tough time ahead of general elections.
