KARACHI (Staff Report): The alarming rise of land encroachment, particularly in the Sindh province, calls for comprehensive reforms and the urgent need for incorruptible law enforcement officials.
The pervasive presence of the land mafia has infiltrated various sectors, exemplified by the recent clash between the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) and Saima Builders, an unscrupulous housing construction company.
Despite the Sindh government’s support, the PCAA successfully thwarted the company’s attempts to encroach upon their rightful land. However, in response, the company resorted to harassing PCAA officials who were defending their organization’s lawful property.
The PCAA remains resolute in its stance against land grabbers and will utilize all available legal avenues to keep the ‘Qabza Group’ at bay, ensuring the protection of its land.
