PESHAWAR (Khyber Mail): The Engineering University Teachers Association (EUTA) held its oath-taking ceremony today. The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Qaisar Ali, administered the oath to the new office bearers.
Mr. Amir Taj from the Department of Computer Science & IT took the oath as President, Prof. Dr. Zahid Wadood Mufti as Vice President, Dr. Atif Sardar as General Secretary, Dr. Ehtiram-ul-Haq and Engr. Adnan Rasheed as Joint Secretaries. The executive body also took the oath on this occasion.
The Vice Chancellor expressed his readiness to undertake any task that would advance higher education in the university. He appreciated the teachers for their unwavering support to the University administration.
Amir Taj, the newly sworn-in President of EUTA, expressed full confidence in the leadership of the Vice Chancellor. He stated that EUTA, having no political affiliations, would work solely for the teaching community’s welfare and the University’s betterment.
The ceremony was attended by the Deans, Registrar, Heads of Departments, senior faculty members, and administrative officers.
