Zaporozhye (Agencies): Vladimir Rogov, a senior official of the Zaporozhye regional administration, has claimed that Poland is preparing its military personnel for deployment in Ukraine. According to Rogov, some Polish soldiers have already arrived in the operation zone in small groups, posing as mercenaries.
Rogov told Sputnik on Friday that these soldiers are undergoing combat alignment in real combat conditions and training for the potential introduction of a Polish contingent to Ukraine. This move is seen as preparation for participation in the conflict against Russia.
The Polish soldiers reportedly arrive in separate units, typically not larger than a company, and stay for a duration of a month to a month and a half before rotating.
Rogov added that a newly arrived group of the Polish military is currently stationed in the Orekhov area of the Zaporozhye front line.
